Any time they actually schedule an announcement, it is always a complete non-issue, where Trump will just bitch about Joe Biden for a while, and possibly tell some bizarre stories about Peruvian Snakes killing like a half million people a year or something.
This is just basic stage magic, where the announcement is meant to get people to look one way, while the actual important thing happens somewhere else.
