      It’s crazy how far they’ve fallen, it’s actually sad they’re down to horses but for some reason think they’re actually a contender for “worlds strongest military”

      They can’t be in the top 10 right now

      In the history of warfare, cavalry charges were always successful against native populations that did not utilize horses with saddles. (some orcs, probably)

      I feel sad for those poor horses, that were likely stolen from Ukrainian farms. They look too healthy to come from mordor.

      I wonder what Putin would think if someone told him in Feb 2022 that in 2025 Russian units would be trying to get through Ukrainian defence lines on horseback.

      I had to read the title a good few times!

      Because I honestly could not believe what I was reading

      Russian Cavalry, Ivan on a horse he stole into an area that has constant ISR overhead with every form of indirect fire you can imaginable ,
      Ukraine has it!

      But also what’s on the ground the even have caltrops which is crazy as it was for tires not ment for horses but they work with the razor wire more mines than anywhere on earth

      But it’s also saturated with every UAV/Loitering munition you can think of too , with FPV’s galore! And that’s miles and miles before you even get in reach of the ATGM’s

      Then and only then do you get into sniper crosshairs and also every type of small arms you can think of , oh yea that’s there too!

      And last time I looked horses don’t do well vs machine guns!

      We found that out over a century ago , And I can’t imagine there been any Russia vets enlisted with the right equipment you would need to save a horse

      So sadly. It’s not enough to try and kill Ukrainians for money now you’re dragging horses back onto the battlefield!

      Yes we out number them ten to one! But there one is worth 1000’s of us. That’s how good the Ukrainian warriors are

      This is just shocking seen cavalry on the battlefield in the 21st century And so sad!

      No Ukrainian wants to kill horses but Russia will do anything forcing Ukraines hand again

      You think you have seen it all and there is no way Russia can shock you again

      They actually went and did it. Thus has been a running joke for years now after seeing all the mad max contraptions the orcs have come up with since ‘22. And here we are. They’re actually using cavalry charges. Unbelievable.

      Ish.. I’d rather they’d scare the poor horses away instead. They had no game in this, and the fact the orcs even used them is appalling.
