      That’s right. Get them pregnant then send the dads off to war. A generation of single moms will really help those economic prospects!

      To be clear I think single moms are some of the most impressive people on the planet. But I do think many if not most would also tell you it’s not the desirable way to raise a family.

      Its fertility rate is 40% better than China 1.02. ROK is way worse than Chinas.

      Russias problem though is its current „high“ rate is mostly the 80s generation where they had a population boom having been in their 30s, where people have enough money to have a child and are still fertile and willing.

      Those born in the 90s are now hitting that part of their lives,, and that was a really low period for population, they had around 700 000 females per year. This and the global drop in fertility over the past 5-10 years is also hitting them.

      About 10 years ago they had 900 000 females a year, this is dropping to close to 600 000.

      Putin is the problem, not the solution. If my partner and I lived in an oligarchy where I could be sent to a pointless war or imprisoned for criticizing the government, I’d never want to raise a child there.

      You’re gonna hear this increasingly from those worried about white people’s birthrates. They genuinely want to roll back women’s progress cause lbr, thats the real reason birthrates have fallen. As women’s liberation has spread, birthrates have plummeted.

      It’s crazy that there is a sizable number within the right wing that fully support this in probably many countries. People (in general) don’t have babies if you can’t raise them safely. Having a tiny human that is dependent on the parent for a good 10 years for survival requires stability and a naturing environment. You also need people having babies that don’t end up in prison which is a major problem in the population that has babies that shouldn’t be having them.

      How can you plan a family when you’re facing such economic uncertainty, you’re ruled by a bunch of war mongering kleptocrats and are likely to get drafted to fight in an illegal war in Ukraine.. Putin is hardly an advert for procreation when despite his vast wealth he can only manage two daughters with his flacid member and lack lustre spawn.. 🤔

      Well, first of all, sending most of a generation of young men to their deaths isn’t helping. Second, those who are not in the frontlines are probably not feeling overly optimistic about the future and well off enough to want to bring children into the world.

      War literally was his answer to this. He wanted to absorb Ukraine and its people into the empire to prop up the population. Only issue is, its a win or die strategy. Which is why he is all in on the war and there will never be a peace. He must succeed in taking all of Ukraine and more. Otherwise Russia as a country is over.
