You could at the very least write out Republic of China (Taiwan) in this post. What’s with not mentioning the ROC at all? The „sovereignty disputes“ are with the ROC.

If you just look at the territorial claims of the Republic of China, this map gets even crazier. (eg. Myanmar, Tajikistan, Russia, the whole of Mongolia among others)
Disputes with Russia for sure will raise as well one day.

They do have disputes with Russia too. Vladivostok used to be Chinese.
As a Taiwanese I feel so many pro-china propaganda these days which concerns me a lot. Whenever western people say China is so devloped that Chinese people are living the future, me =👀👀. They dont know the salary of Chinese people living behind the skyscrapers and how many Chinese people are moving to neighboring countries to do cheap labors.

They will push some of these claims sooner or later. Hongkong is done, soon Taiwan on the menu and then who knows. Autocratic regimes need conflicts like water, otherwise people might start contemplating why they have no right to vote. Better keep them occupied with other stuff.
Ironally, Russia, who has stolen most lands from China, has least disputes…
China should learn from Americans or Britons how to handle territorial issues.
It gets worse if you include countries they’ve tried to invade in the last 50 years like Vietnam, no active territorial disputes but shit is pretty recent

Most of these disputes can be traced back to the Europeans colonizing South and Southeast Asia, leaving a mess of a border behind for people to deal with.
I don’t really think Nepal needs to be in that list tbh, unless a few meters of land dispute constitutes as a „territory dispute“ (which would technically be true I guess).
