      For context, pretty well everything official, or with a big company happens through the Danish digital post which is anchored to your mitID, so there really is very little post.

      In Germany I asked my local chamber of commerce if they could send me invoices by email instead of post. They told me they are legally not allowed to do that. A tale of two countries.

      They will use PostNord, the Swedish service. We still base a loooot of communication on letters in Sweden.

      Although there is still mail ofc through other services, and I know it is wasteful, but as a side comment, I must say I still prefer to get my bills in the mail.

      It is quite annoying to track bills in my email and the 500 random invoicing firms that companies use now. It is much nicer and easier to get some physical letter. I guess too much digital overload for me.

      Sweden did this and now it is complete shit, and certain government agencies insist on physical mail despite how shit the system is (looking at you, Migrationsverket). Good job Denmark, you get a „fell for privatization again“ ribbon.

      They also run the Swedish postal service and it’s a total fucking shit show.

      I’ve never had so many packets get lost, delayed, stolen or never even attempted delivery. They have an app, but sometimes they send you an sms about a collection, sometimes a letter, sometimes a slip in the box….fuck knows. Just take the dart and throw it randomly at the board.
