Thanks to the new PM and the outdated policies the Yen further declines making oversea trips more and more unlikely. In the meantime, lets blame the foreigner for all the problems in the country.

  2. When Japanese complain about high prices they really haven’t seen the madness of US and Northern Europe these days.

„I went to New York City, a famously low-cost city in the united states, and purchased all my food and snacks at famous delis and museums and I AM SHOCKED, SHOCKED“

As a new yorker who has also lived in japan, they honestly should have known better. Who gets a diet coke in the MET and not expect it to be high priced, it’s a museum in new york city for goodness sake

Well we are obviously headed back to a 360yen world, if not worse. Japan can never regain its earlier success. The country is culturally dead, with most young people deciding not to have kids. And the majority of people will soon be too old to work at the same time they are demanding an end to foreign labor.

There is no in reality hope at all, but as long as Toyota make huge profits from its overseas factories the official line will be „the economy is great!“
