      That would not be the first time the US intervenes in Venezuela for its own economical interests though, causing a catastrophe.

      Yeah most of us think so too, but unfortunately political polarization and electoral rigging are now so severe that the government has realized that they can do anything they want no matter how unpopular and still win elections by fear mongering about trans people and immigrants.

      There is only one positive I can see, and that is it’s highly unlikely that Venezuela will attempt to invade Guyana, which it had been threatening to do.
