O no! Who could have seen this coming? Besides….ya know….***everybody***?

It’s insane to me that we live in a time where we are all openly watching them hide evidence.

    3. Every redaction is another conspiracy theory.

What is under that redaction? What don’t they want us to see? Who made the redaction? Who benefits?

    4. Not that I want them to hide evidence but haven’t they already had MONTHS to do this anyway?

They are not scrambling. There is no way to remove Trump from them without completely proving he was in them. He is the primary character in the novel and you can’t remove him. They are trying to delay the inevitable.

    6. Of course they have. They know to get the redactions removed, it will be years in court and millions spent to get them.

Good. The more clumsily they handle the files the greater the risk that incriminating evidence of Trump doesn’t get redacted.

    8. I still think that the only thing that will be released tonight are more excuses.

    9. Bet they used ai to redact it . I wonder if you’ll be able to convince ai to undo it lol

There was no “race against time”, why are the media lying to us?

Bongino and the FBI has reportedly been doing it since March.

Whatever Bondi is doing is not that and they took their sweet time doing it.

If this hit some random poor guy, the files would’ve been out already.

    12. The DOJ is a criminal organization now, tampering with evidence and protecting people like Epstein and his friends who victimized minors.

47 is probably saying, „Redact everything! Who’s going to stop you?“

Set aside how insane this is in the first place. How corrupt. How nakedly evil. How very probably illegal. Ignore all of that for just a moment.

These people had *a fucking year* to get this done, and by their own admission still haven’t. The people who should be among the best of the best in the entire country – if not the *entire world* – are scrambling to get the homework done with hours left to go. At best, it’s probably the single biggest sign of their incompetence that something *this* important to them is coming down to the fucking wire. And at worst, they *were* at it that entire year and still aren’t done because Donald Trump’s name is in there *that many times.*

They sure like protecting pedophiles. Freaking weird. I personally would like to line them all up behind a prison shed but I guess that is just the morality in me talking.

Who are these civil servants spending their time blocking out trumps name from these files? I can’t believe no one in this whole process doesn’t have an ounce of shame in what they are doing. Our society is broken beyond repair.

Thought the FBI had already spent a year and $120 million in overtime redacting the same documents.

Don’t say they missed a few names? 😳

American Gestapo: „Show me your papers“

DOJ: „We will not have all the papers today.“

This is a direct VIOLATION of the Epstein Transparency Act which is enforceable! Pam Bondi should be apprehended for violating the law and if everything isn’t produced by 3pm, she should be formally charged and booked.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, amirite?

      Two things I’m hoping for:

      1. The rush job is sloppy, the redactions can be cancelled out by copy/pasting the text elsewhere.

      2. There redactions include Ctrl+F searches for „Trump“ but we get a couple juicy nuggets from „Trunp“ (or similar) misspellings, like „Dwigt“ in The Office.

Just saying, that if you’re a government worker handling these files, you can legally ‚leak‘ them as of today, as the law Trump signed REQUIRES them to be published today. So if Bondi etc. tried to go after you you’d have an ironclad legal defense for exposing these pedophiles to sunlight, and there isn’t a jury in the United States that would convict you of any crime or misdemeanor.

    20. stillthrowinitallawa on

Just a reminder that Trump could have ordered the files be released at any time. He refused so Congress had to act. He signed the bill and is essentially refusing to do what he agreed to do. Classic Trump.

Wild that the conservative sub doesn’t even have a thread on this. Their stupidity knows no limit.

    22. Round_Concentrate723 on

I’m a 55 year old retired tradesman. Not exactly tech savvy. Even I could figure out how to redact the names and identifying information of the victims from these files. Fucking hell. Chat GPT could tell you how to do it in an afternoon.

This is bullshit. Plain and simple. We pay our taxes late, what leeway is given? None. They take your shit and throw you in jail. They break a law that was just passed and have zero consequences. For protecting a bunch of pedophile rapists. Un fucking believable.

But I’m sure the democrats and republicans all know how this was going to play out before they even passed the bill. Kick the can down the road. And keep kicking it.
Because what’s going to happen? Nothing. It’s too bad the Jan 6 crowd got lost in the sauce. Because their impetus to action might have been effective if they actually knew who their enemy really was.
