Consequences? None. Why would the DOJ release something they didn’t want to? They are the law. We have no checks and balances.

I was suspicious when Trump ordered the Republicans to vote to release the files. I was wondering what he had planned.. I actually gave him way too much credit and thought he had some tricks up his sleeve, where in reality his plan is just don’t release them.
