    1. That „John“ didn’t think of calling law enforcement on his own and relied on reddit for guidance just reinforces my view that people don’t have critical thinking skills anymore. Just do the right thing people. FFS.

    2. It was a witness reporting what they saw. Most crimes are solved that way, with help from the public. It’s not unusual.

    5. So my question is why did it take other Reddit users urging the guy to call police to get him to do that? If he thought his info was so valuable why didn’t he contact law enforcement first?
