      I see the similarities but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the point won’t be for them to kill one another.

      He wants to stand above the masses like an Emperor and proclaim the games officially open. He’ll be adding his own thumps up or thumbs down final decision before deciding on a victor. All the while Republicans will be tossing rose petals at his feet.

      I hate Trump but why is this even remotely a bad thing?

      America does have a health crisis that’s been happening for well over a decade. Anyone remember the huge push Michelle Obama tried to make to get more healthy food diets in American diets?

      It also shouldn’t be weird to celebrate being American. I know why people don’t like feeling patriotic these days, but the rapid decline of patriotism didn’t really start with Trump. Trump was the response towards those feelings.

      250 years is a pretty crazy thing to think about. The rhetoric he imposes of course is as stupid as he always is, but the idea in itself isn’t a bad thing.

      Unless I see more going on where we’re advocating killing to prove our worth, it isn’t a crazy thing to compete with athletic sports.

      I’ve been saying it for a while that the logical extension of the conservative mindset is some sort of social Darwinism to facilitate social mobility, didn’t think it would be so explicit though

      So high school Olympics without any team sports.

      The best version of this sounds boring.

      All show, no substance. Placate the masses with entertainment while they rob us blind. Then theyll want us to thank them for the privilege.

      Probably not given that any headline with a question mark generally means no. But who knows!? Fun times y’all!
