    1. Do these not also repel customers? I can go buy a hammer someplace where my bones don’t ring like bells.

    2. I have to imagine that these day laborers increase sales for that Home Depot. Seems counterintuitive unless they hate money

‚Undocumented day laborers across the US have long convened at Home Depot locations to find work, but these stores have become an epicenter of aggressive enforcement under Donald Trump’s deportation-centered immigration policy.

Immigration officers have targeted Home Depot locations in Los Angeles suburbs. In January, federal agents rounded up migrants at a Home Depot in Kern county, California, per reports.‘

Posted cos I had no idea what the headline meant.

That’s why I shop at Lowe’s. These are people and they are just trying to make a living.

    5. That sounds like assault. Regardless of whether they should be there or not, they shouldn’t be caused physical harm.

    6. Wouldn’t this also deter…customers? I can’t imagine people are going to be thrilled about having to go through an area with a noise machine that “penetrates bones” to get inside.

      You do you Home Depot.

I’m sure this will go over well with the „5G covid microchip implant“ folks. Stay classy Home Depot.

    8. Fuck Home Depot. Shop local hardware stores if possible. No support for mega corporate businesses. They are anti worker due to poverty level wages, anti union, and support racism, bigotry, and class warfare.

    9. 1 thats probably assault

2 this will mess up customers as well

3 its begging for lawsuits from rights groups, customers, and the state

Assuming this is legal, which I feel like it can’t be, Is it really in their best interest financially to physically harm a sizable portion of their customer demographic?

    11. Home Depot is just trying to get in rhe favor of the current administration. They know most of America has the attention span of a house fly, and by the time Trump is out of offic, nobody will remember or care about the bullshit they pulled with Trump.

I haven’t been to a Home Depot in a couple years after I found that the owner or CEO (think he’s since died) contributed to the orange turd.

The thing to do would be 1) go to Home Depot to shop 2) get bone blasted near the entrance 3) defecate all over the entrance floor because of the “brown note” being played

Every one should try this. Make them have people at the front to clean it up. I mean, it works for the parking lot too, but a lot of folks are just used to soiled parking lots (and Home Depot’s lots are usually awful anyway).

    14. I avoided Home Depot for 6 months so far and I do a lot of Diy, there are plenty of other places to shop, even Lowes is better. I’m never going there again, especially now that they let ICE agents chase people inside the store… And now this! No thanks.

I can get the same tools from a lot of different places. If Home Depot is tired of capitalism they should just say it.

    16. Huh? Since when exactly are day laborers some kind of nuisance? Every Home Depot I’ve ever been to, they gather way off out of the way somewhere.

This is the closest Home Depot to me. I don’t like really like the company, but I go here because it’s like 5 minutes from my house vs 30 minutes for Lowe’s. Maybe it’s time to go somewhere else now.

This is kind of an insane thing to do in a community that is majority Latino and very left-wing. I guess they like kissing Trump’s ass more than they like money.
