Get rid of gender clinics for adults, go for informed consent via their GP instead. Save the NHS money and resources, make it easier for the patient.
As it is now, the NHS is pissing away money just to keep fucking over trans people.
Still better than NHS mental health services who turn people down rather than put them on any list.
And our government is encouraging hospitals to do by paying them for taking anyone they can off to get waiting lists down rather than pay for more treatment.
I myself I am in a fight over being taken off a list I shouldn’t have been.
Could have? They already do and I can’t imagine how long they’d be if it wasn’t for the diy culture that exists

The current longest waitlist is over 200 years.
Anyway, we need to scrap gender clinics and go the informed consent route. It will be dramatically cheaper, it will be faster, and going by other places with informed consent models, there will be no increased risk. If anything, given that gender clinics have historically (and to a considerably lesser extent still do) enforce certain transition pathways, informed consent could well *reduce* harm and regret.
