      If Putin says Europe wants to feast off of Russia’s ruin, that means Putin wants to feast off of Europe’s ruin. If Putin says that Europe wants war, that means Putin wants to start a war.  If Putin says Ukrainians are shelling nuclear facilities to use radiation as a weapon, that means Putin wants to use radiation as a weapon (or actual nuclear weapons).  Everyone has got this, right?

      FFS I just want to live my life. I don’t care about Russia, china, America or whatever man.
      Nobody here wants a war. But stupid people believe what they want to believe, I guess….

      Man I knew a dude who went *full* tankie, I’ve been waiting for the coin to drop but after this year I realized it’s never going to.
      He is so smug and he is *convinced* that the war is *all* Ukraines fault because they were getting too close to NATO, and Ru was worried about their borders. And the current world leaders are corrupt for supporting Ukraine and allowing this war to continue.

      This dude seemed like a smart, friendly, stylish, creative, funny, just all round cool guy.

      Idk why he’s loudly declaring that the country that got invaded are the bad guys because the country that invaded them was worried that NATO being on the border would lead to…. What?
      Even with all the justification in the world and a huge number of people *urging* NATO to do something they still aren’t actually taking hostile action against them.
      But the invasion was necessary to stop nato from taking the hostile action that they are clearly just waiting for the chance to take.

      2025 has been the most insane year and Covid wasn’t even that long ago

      All I want for xmas is for the Russian people to reign in their shitty leaders. Imagine if the Russian Federation actually took all the money they are spending killing their neighbors and developed their country outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

      If he ended the war, it would deescalate the bad blood and improve his economy. Every minute that the war continues increases tension, military buildup and response. It is interesting, because he understands the rubber band effect and warned the rest of the world about it. But, then doesn’t realize it goes the other direction. While ending the war wouldn’t completely dissipate tensions, he wouldn’t have his paranoias constantly and genuinely reinvigorated from reactions by other nations. Or at least, quite a bit less so.

      Feast!? Russia’s economy is barely a snack. Sure, it’s enough for some corrupt oligarchs to live like kings, but if Russia collapsed, they would need massive foreign aid.

      You know… i sometimes think to myself how cool it would be if Russia was just a chill country that got along with it’s neighbors both culturally and politically. Like, imagine how cool it would be if Russia was just this cool chill place next to Europe and a great neighbor to have for trade and commerce that you can rely on to do the right thing. Basically what if Russia was more like Canada is to the US.

      But instead they’ve been actively choosing violence and conflict for some foolish vision of power over other people. Such a waste of potential in the world stage.

      The same „swine“ that after the collapse of the USSR supported Russia to recover and develop, that included them in all kind of deals (like the gas deal) all to try to have as a neighbor a stable, developed and civilized Russia? We are very upset at you, you uncivilized swine!

      Dear Swine Whore of Russia: thank you for leveraging the European War Machine together with Krasnov. Your time is counting down and abides the resurrection of a united force rearly seen in history. Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, even UK contributing towards European border shield and supporting Ukraine. They are looking forward with warheads across the border. Not to mention your attempts to cross Baltic borders.
      You may have put your lady Krasnov on the hook, but a lot of Russians will die before getting some European territory.

      Imagine if Russia just stopped being a constant agitator and played along with the rest of the developed world. They’d have a thriving economy, strong military, respect from other Nations….and their oligarchs would still be filthy rich!

      Instead their draining their money, resources, and soldiers into an embarrassing war chasing the USSR dream that never really existed.
