It’s part of his so-called „trade deals.“
He has some conversations with this is or that country, and they make some vague assurances they will invest in this or buy a lot of that and not a thing is committed to an actual written deal or economic treaty.
Then Trump comes back and brags about these conversations as if they have anything backing them up.
The pattern has been that he makes these claims immediately after and the other country is like „WTF? We didn’t say that.“
In short, all his numbers are based on vague conversations and nothing has really been secured.
Truth is, he isn’t competent to negotiate trade deals.
Where are the jobs then?
