    1. > “I also once took an Ambien in the morning, thinking it was something else,” Lawrence continued. “It was a dance scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman on the second ‘Hunger Games’ movie. I was hallucinating. Elizabeth Banks got really annoyed with me.”

    2. My aunt was on it and would get up in the middle of the night and make pancakes then wake up covered in syrup with no memory of it.

I was on ambien when I was pregnant and couldn’t get out of bed to pee. Literally could not move. My husband had to lift me up. It was the strangest thing.

I took it that one night and then never again lol.

    4. „by mistake“? Where’s the Jennifer Lawrence „yeah, ok“ gif when you need it?

    5. we can tell when actors are drugging themselves one way or another — movies aren’t relatable at all anymore . . .

My boss took one by mistake with breakfast and blacked out. Woke up in the middle of the road she had fallen asleep and crashed into a pole

They don’t really market this drug anymore, do they? Used to see it advertised non-freaking-stop

    8. I had capped lips. I bite at the skin sometimes, disgusting habit. While on ambien, i tore my lip apart so bad it took a couple months to heal

That would explain her stumble at an awards ceremony a decade ago – being high on drugs. Wonder what she is up to now?

Man I’m so jealous of people that this works on. It literally did nothing for me. Then they tried another thing that was wayyyyy too strong. There’s no middle 😭

I did this once, took an ambien in the morning instead of my normal morning med. Luckily it was a WFH day but damn was it a wild one trying to hang on to consciousness through zoom calls

I was given an Ambien prescription years ago shortly after it started to become popular. I had no knowledge of the hallucinations that it could cause. I read the label, and took one an hour before bed, and went to take a shower.

As I’m in the shower, everything around me starts melting. I get out and the towels melting, and I’m having a hard time drying myself. Eventually, I’m on my hands and knees, crawling to the bed because it was impossible for me to stand up on my own and I just passed out.

The next day I took it right before bed, and went to check something really quickly on my laptop. This is the day before smart phones so I usually was on my laptop before bed. And as I’m looking the letters on the screen swirl like a toilet. Like I couldn’t read anything because they were all spinning around in a vortex.

Obviously it was just method acting for the trackerjacker wasps scene.

    14. I got up and drove to McDonald’s for a sundae at like 11 pm and cut my own hair. That was the end of it for me.

Prescribed ambien in college. I shook all the time and would randomly pass out. Ended up going into a rage and punching an ex in the head after he kissed my roommate. Wild shit, ambien

    16. It’s really alarming that Ambien even passed the human trials to be approved in the first place with how prolific the side effects are, and even more alarming that it’s still available.

My old boss used to take Ambien. He would “Ambien online shop”. Many times those of us on the team got surprise gifts in the mail, mostly sweet treats, like candy or cookies. One time though he had agreed to buy his niece shoes to go with her wedding dress, and in his Ambien-fueled haze he just sent her a dozen pairs of shoes.
