I mean, even if he is “manipulating a majority”, he’s doing exactly what any other PM would do if they were a couple of seats short, and the leader of the Opposition had a caustic personality that was driving people away. 

Conservatives and Liberals have been crossing the floor forever. I’m pretty sure the only party that doesn’t accept floor crossers is the NDP
