Ich (British) habe meinem Partner gesagt, dass ich zu Weihnachten Pierogi machen würde, also übe ich, vor allem, weil ich das noch nie zuvor gemacht habe (ich bin ein vernünftiger Koch). Das sind meine ersten Versuche. Es sind Rindfleisch, Zwiebeln und Pilze drin und ich habe den Teig gefärbt, weil ich auch Pilz-Pierogi und von Cornish Pasty inspirierte Pierogi mache ("Fusion") und wollte den Unterschied erkennen können.

      Those looks cooked, you boil them made. I have them dozens times of the year and I never even eat cooked one.

      Keep those covered with a cloth until you’re ready to boil.

      Edit: FYI, Polish people don’t eat meat on Xmas Eve (Wigilia). Unless those are for the next day or your GF just doesn’t follow that tradition
