      How awful. This will ruin every holiday season for them all going forward. And his lawyer is doing what Ann Taylor did with kohberger not entering a plea at this time.

      For those who don’t want give TMZ clicks, Jake and Romy released this statement:

      „Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience. They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.“

      „We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life.“

      „We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity, and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.“

      I honestly could cry right now. I lost my sister last year, there is so much pain I feel for them… They were so obviously loved, it makes me want to be as good to people as they so clearly were. 💔

      These poor kids, but poor Romy especially. I just cannot imagine finding my father like that. It’s just so horrendous.

      Never have I ever been as shocked and shaken by a celebrity death as I am after I first heard the news about the Reiners.

      Every single detail that has emerged is pretty much as sad and terrible as one could possibly imagine. It’s a really hard pill to swallow that we live in a world where something like this is even possible.

      I’m just…numb. I can’t even process how this story has gone.

      Rob Reiner, the man who made *so many movies* that live on not only in the internet’s love of quotability and memery but also on their merits alone…dead. Not just dead. Murdered. Murdered along with his wife.

      By his *son.*

      In an incredibly graphic and violent way.

      Literally every detail that comes out makes this worse.

      I keep wanting to pull up those Rich Eisen interview clips of him asking Reiner stories of his movies, and smiling and thinking „Awww, I wish Rob was my grandpa. I hope he’s enjoying his twilight years.“

      And yet whatever shock I have and whatever horror I feel, it’s a speck of sand compared to what Romy and Jake must be feeling.

      Jesus.

      Those poor kids. I can’t imagine their daughter finding her parents like that. And to know it was their brother… my heart breaks for that family.

      I cannot image what their daughter, Romy, is feeling. She was the one that found them, and to find out it was her brother that killed them. Truly heartbreaking, may they rest in peace.

      100% hope all the people in BK crowns living outside the property read this.. that was embarrassing.

      They lost their family, we know who did it and they are caught.. let them heal and grieve. Having to ask for humanity is sad, was just common not that long ago.

      Usually I’m not affected by celebrities‘ deaths but I just can’t stop thinking about what happened to the Reiners. Just so fucking awful.
