That’s objectively true. As much as there is a sense of rivalry or enmity based on the past, or whatever it is that causes such friction between the two countries, it’s hard to see how we can avoid a World War without neighbors like Japan and China learning to get along despite their differences.

Establish healthy boundaries, yes, and don’t take shit from each other, but there’s so much that connects the two cultures compared to what divides them.

Both countries need to stop teaching their people, intentionally or not, to hate the other. Both countries are pretty wonderful in their own different ways.
