As Vietnamese, I’m legit wondering if one day I get the passport, but Russia invades Finland and Vietnam happens to be an ally Russia on the other side of the world which I have no choice or influence over, I’ll be considered a member of the fifth column and thrown into an internment camp with these people in charge.

Baffling that at least Eerola wasn’t expelled from the party immediately. If I were held at gunpoint and told to give these dipshits the best possible defense, I’d be able to say of the rest of them that maybe they did nothing more than emulate the miss to show solidarity. Finnish society (not everyone) has been quite racist against Roma, Arabs, Somalis, Muslims, or anyone with dark skin. Including southern Europeans.

It’s not a new thing nor a recent thing, it is systemic and pervasive. It’s often justified by crime statistics, or how some immigrants don’t integrate, or take benefits, etc. Which are simply excuses for their racism.
It’s everywhere: Banks, Migri, public transport, housing, healthcare, etc.
