      Edit to Add:
I’ve got a small online shop. I started gift-wrapping every item anyone purchased from me, at Christmas, years ago. I was going to wrap everything for protection in the post anyway, so I figured I could just as easily wrap things prettily. The response was better than I could have hoped. Busy people were appreciative that I’d saved them a job of wrapping gifts they could hand straight over. One elderly gentleman wrote to me, that first year, to say all his family were gone and his contemporaries had gone and so he hadn’t received a present for many years. When his order from me arrived in festive paper and ribbons, he told me it made him happy cry! Obviously, I sent him a Christmas present, lol.

I do gift-wrapping all year through since then. Over the years, there have been many people who have loved the „surprise“ packaging and I receive lots of messages and feedback about it. Like you say, OP, it *matters* that people know time and care has been taken. It’s a double portion of joy 😊

Your contemporary bojagi is chef’s kiss, love it! 😘🤌🫴
I’m so glad that gift-wrapping is having a showcase here 👍

I think it’s really nice. I like gifting the seasonal family gifts for 설날 or 추석 in a nice bojagi. 꽃감 or 떡 can never miss.
