Snipers are being replaced by drone operators, end of an era on both sides. Surprised when I still see vids posted of sniper shots when drone vids outnumber their achievements by…a hundred to one? A thousand? And mostly, so much safer, the operator in a bunker instead of out on the battlefield. Those antidrone camo cloaks don’t work, or at least, the ones the Russians use don’t. Can’t help wondering if there are cloaks that do work.
I spent 22 years learning patrolling and actually patrolling.
Now they just send a drone up.
