My dad is one of those people. He keeps buying junk from there, from horrible polyester T-shirts to random kitchenware. Most of the items end up in the trash.
I have one friend like that, borderline poverty living but a new package at least once a week – all just useless shit. It has to be some sort of addiction, because it is not reasonably justifiable.
I think a salient point that most are overlooking is how low income those two groups classically are.
