      Good. It’s long past due.

Every stone needs to be looked under and absolutely no one and no party should be off limits.

Good. I hope no stone is left unturned (unlikely). It might hurt them all but if we want to move forwards we need to clean up.

I hope all parties learn and be better. Even Reform if they actually do care about the people of this nation and genuinely want to make a difference.

I am trying to give them the benefit of doubt there.

We’ve got a bunch of individuals, that weren’t born in our country, in our highest levels of government.

Will that be addressed, or are we just on about the regular boogiemen?

    4. Too bad they’re doing this entirely in bad faith because they know they’re going lose to the neo nation front. We absolutely need this investigated, I just wish it wasn’t run by some neoliberal fishfinger who believes in nothing.

I wonder how long it’ll take before we start getting flooded by talking points portraying this as a bad thing.

„The conduct around the Brexit referendum has been specifically excluded in the terms of reference, and Mr Rycroft will be instructed to focus on more „recent“ cases“

So they’re not really serious about this then? Until we start being honest with ourselves, I fear we’re never going to really get to the bottom of the problems with politics and the state of the country.

    7. „After review we have found there is no material interference. C’est la vie.“

I don’t know how to write cyrillic so had to go with France.

I think Labour have no idea how popular cracking down on foreign influence on politics would be.  I don’t know anyone who isn’t in favour of it.

      >The conduct around the Brexit referendum has been specifically excluded in the terms of reference, and Mr Rycroft will be instructed to focus on more „recent“ cases, although there is no specific start date.

The most obvious event in British politics that Russia would want to influence to get the outcome that happened is *excluded?*

I get that now is a far higher priority but to exclude it completely is madness to me.

Finally. Hopefully they ban / fine into disappearance:

      Twitter
      Facebook
      Corrupt media
      Tik Tok

Plus any other outlet responsible for propaganda and disinformation.

Uncontrolled social media and media is our greatest threat to democracy imo.

Maybe look into Ex PM Johnson giving a peerage to a Russian businessman and also his unrecorded meeting with said family.

Also Reforms promoting Russian interests – promoting non doms.

About a decade too late, but at least someone has finally understood something should be done.

Next do a full national enquiry into the Brexit, there’s an awful lot of politicians who really, really do not want a torch shone on that.

Good! This is long overdue. And must include, without any equivocation, the USA under Trump’s MAGAt administration too’!

    14. They can’t even pay the right stamp duty. How are they going to investigate.

Quick off the mark, this lot!

In about 5 years they will launch an Urgent review into the slightly suspicious number of Turkish barbers.

Transparent attempt to go after Reform for the liberals wet-dream, Russia. Plays to the gallery whilst probably inadvertently exposing the fact theres literal Chinese spies working as Labour MPs.

This will win over approximately zero people who need ‘winning over’.

    17. Didn’t they (cons) block the release of russian influence in brexit? I don’t hold out much hope for this.

    18. duke_dastardly on

I still want to know who Boris met with in the days leading up to his sudden u-turn on Brexit. He went from being staunchly in favour of remaining, to the chief cheerleader of the leave campaign within the space of a couple of days.
I know some of it was paving the way for his rise to power, but I’m convinced there’s more to it.

    19. Wise-Reflection-7400 on

Many seem more worried about Reform and Russia, but the real danger is Labour and China.

We have Labour giving Chagos back under minimal pressure to a Chinese vassal state who want to build a base next door

and the whole malarkey about China building a massive embassy and UK govt officials coming out and telling us why it would be good to have in the centre of the capital on top of fibre optic cables heading to the City of London.

It is crazy so much oxygen is being taken up with talk of Russia, perhaps this is more Chinese interference to distract from the obviously bigger issue.

    20. Ok-Commission-7825 on

In my view, this is a misplaced effort. We could just work on fact-checking and real consequences for being caught lying – instead, we focus on who plays for the lies that are so easily got away with.

CANT UPSET THE SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SPECIAL AMERICA THAT’S SO SPECIAL AND PRECIOUS TO OUR HEARTS!!

    22. Russia, Israel, USA and China need to be top of the list – as well as massively influential HNW individuals like Musk, Soros and the Adelson’s.

I don’t care what side of the political spectrum you’re on. If you genuinely love this country, and want your children to have a better standard of living – you should be in favour of this.

Entities are using electronic warfare against British people to try and tear our society apart, and weaken our nation fundamentally. With social media, they can be incredibly selective and effective with their messaging.

We’re bombarded with anti-immigrant/anti-woman/anti-Muslim/anti-Jewish content. Whichever one people subconsciously linger on for a millisecond more, they’ll start to get more of.

      – Whites are turned against ’savage, violent non-whites‘

      – Lonely men are turned against ’slutty, conniving, heartless women‘

      – Young are turned against ‚boomer, landlord, lucky old‘

      – Old are turned against ‚avocado-eating, spoilt, lazy‘ young

      This even gets issue specific.

      – Jews are turned against ‚Hamas supporting Palestine supporters‘, car drivers against ‚privileged, London bubble, nutty eco-warriors‘, etc.

It’s not a state of play that can continue if we want this country to continue to succeed. We were leaders of industry, innovation, exploration and academia – if we want to reach that again, we must unite, and stop these forces of hate.

    23. Review all foreign interference but clearly this being done now by a desperate Labour party to attack Reform. Classless.

    24. Cant wait to see how cheaply Farage et al sold out our democracy for.

Nathan Gill got 10.5 years for £40k.
