      Honestly great news. It also helps that the drinking/power harassment culture has been on the decline, so people can attend these types of events and enjoy soft drinks or tea and not be forced to down sake by their bosses.

      Ah yes, would love to attend the company bonenkai and hear my drunk managers opinion on immigrants

      I think generally the regular not-mandatory but almost-mandatory drinking parties are on the downtrend. So the important ones are more exciting, rather than being basically the same thing that happens every month/week/day like it did in the past.
