Wish those dudes the best of luck remigrating to wherever their ancestors came from. Frankly, can’t happen soon enough.

    2. > The Dominion Society was started by Daniel Tyrie, former Executive Director of the People’s Party of Canada. The group claims about 1,600 members, mostly young men.

Why is none of this information at all surprising?

I saw a picture of one of this group’s pamphlets or posters or whatever elsewhere, saying something about “protect our loyalist roots.”

Now, as someone who can directly trace my ancestry back to a loyalist settler, I not only think these guys should shut their yaps about their thinly-veiled white nationalism, but also have to question how many of them actually have “loyalist roots”, in actual point of fact. It’s far from a ubiquitous point of ancestry for Canadians at this point, after all.

The logic of remigration policies being applied to Canada would mean the deportation of anyone that’s not First Nations/indigenous but of course that means nothing to the people behind this group and the idea

As far as I’m concerned, demands for „remigration“ are demands for ethnic cleansing. Calling for millions of people to be removed from the country for no reason other than who their parents were is reprehensible.
