Venezuelan opposition leader and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Maria Corina Machado, has reportedly suffered a fractured vertebra after escaping her home country on a fishing boat.
Machado, who is currently recovering in Norway, allegedly sustained the injury while making her high-risk exit from Venezuela. The escape comes a day after Machado voiced her approval of the U.S. campaign against President Nicolas Maduro.
