Youre going to see a lot of people compare the reaction to this murder to the murder of someone who said children dying was worth the second amendment. Those people are going to say the comparison is apt because Reiner was also very outspoken.
I just want to make it extremely clear, Reiner’s activism was not AT ALL similar to the vile rhetoric the other man said. So when people celebrate a man and his wife being murdered in their own home and defend their glee because some people werent sad over the death of a man who said “empathy is made-up”
DONT FUCKING LET THEM
RIP Rob and Michelle Reiner

Don’t go on Twitter. Don’t go there in general, but especially don’t go there for news about this. It’s……ugly…..
Horrible that the daughter discovered Rob and Michele. Horrible that allegedly the son did it. RIP Rob and Michele.

He gave an interview back in September when Jimmy Kimmel was suspended and in the interview he said “may be the last time you see me”. It was super weird and stopped me in my tracks and the host, Brianna Keilar, was caught off guard. She brushed it off like nah, you’re gonna be around. Stop talking crazy. I remember just staring at my TV just marveling over how much I adored Rob Reiner but also thinking “why on Earth would he say that?” I don’t think it’s in anyway connected but it was so odd and today definitely made me go back to that interview.
Out of all the roles I saw him in, my favorite is always going to be him playing Jess’ dad in New Girl. I loved him every time he made a cameo and his scenes with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jake Johnson always crack me up. People like him and Dick Van Dyke make me smile. They have good energy, funny grandpa vibes.
For his and his wife’s lives to be taken like this, so violently, makes me incredibly sad. On a weekend when there has been so much devastation, I just…this one, all of it, hurts. And it’s gonna hurt every time I watch Jess’ dad from now on. 💔💔

And killed by his fucking son, too. So tragic.
Son Nick is named the culprit by People Magazine
