      They are also working hard at legislation to make fixing broken devices by breaking digital locks not an illegal act, as well as many other Right to Repair issues.

      I just checked it out and they don’t RELEASE the fix, just save it until the law changes. And the person who submitted the video and the code has to promise to opensource the fix to get the reward.

      These products are part of a huge problem/Scam. They are designed to fail and be replaced this just adds to more issues with the environment and reusable products. Greed is the only thing these companies are motivated by. Release this information do not protect these cancerous assholes. You are just as bad for helping them.
