Great news. Let’s see if the private sector can now find a solution.
If not, time for the govt to create an option.
Every province should do these things. The existence of these „covenants“ are absurd. Never should have been allowed.
Break up the middle men that have been consolidated and bought out by the grocery corporations. This has been the biggest reason for price increases.
Thank you, let’s take a page from Manitoba and make it Canadian to compete with the „record profit“ grocery chains.
