I knew if I waited long enough, we’d finally hear a bad story about Mel Brooks. It’s only taken 70 years.

So to be clear, cos the headline makes it sound worse than it is – I know, shocking – but Lewis Pullman doesnt seem to think Brooks slighted him or any of the other cast members by not showing up.

He didnt bring it up or start complaining out if nowhere, the interviewer asked if he met Mel and he says no, then immediately excuses it saying „he’s a homebody, but he was definitely part of it [referring to the wrap party]. His spirit was there, he was part of the design of it.“ He then gushes about getting a personal voice message from Brooks, so I *seriously* doubt there’s any bitterness at all.

Like I have no doubt he wishes he could have met the guy personally, but Mel Brooks is 99 years old and, as Pullman said, a homebody at the best of times… It makes sense that he didn’t get out much.

    3. We all know this film is going to be complete garbage, no one cares the drama behind the scenes.
