Mods are free to remove this article if they deem it to be too similar to the last one I posted. I’m posting this one as it includes a source from inside the Conservative caucus that spoke to The Post about this particular issue:

      >“I expect two more, at least,” one Conservative caucus member told National Post. “Poilievre will continue to die a death of 1,000 cuts, because I’ve never seen a guy who’s so unaware of the room he’s in, and I’ve never seen a guy who just refuses to stop doing stupid things.”

I already got enough presents in 2025. Let’s save this good news for AFTER the conservatives lock in Pierre as leader. The speech the next day when the defections continue will be one for the ages.

    3. I would be willing to bet money there will be at least one more floor crossing after the CPC convention at the end of January. Vote in the leadership review first, then leave.

I’ll say what I did on another sub:

There is a lot of rumors spiraling that after the leadership review we are going to see more defections.

It’s been obvious for some time that a lot of Progressive Conservative types are not really digging this style of conservatism.

It’s been building for a long time as the Conservative Party of Canada wasn’t suppose to be just another Reform Party of Canada/Canadian Alliance.

I wonder if we may see the party fracture overall and/or a bigger push come for Electoral Reform – Proportional Representation.

We may see this whole fiasco lead to some interesting places in Canadian politics.

    5. They need to get ride of PP now and start building a new leader up. There’s no way he can turn this around at this point.

      >“They want to demoralize you. Don’t let them,” Conservative MP Jamil Jivani posted on X a few hours after Ma’s announcement. “You are right to believe our country needs better leadership. The status quo isn’t working. Keep fighting until we get a federal government that the great Canadian people deserve.”

I wonder if he realizes the irony of his statement. „*needs better leadership. The status quo isn’t working.“* should be directed inward to the CPC caucus.

*“They want to demoralize you. Don’t let them,”* somehow this is the Liberal’s fault.
