When Acer got caught supplying whole computers to Russia, in this case I’m talking about it was Chromebooks, almost everybody I said this to was like, „Oh I don’t care about that sort of thing“.
Yeah, it’s not your fucking backyard. Try caring about something that doesn’t involve a hole to deposit sperm into, sad sac. Stop buying from people helping Russia murder millions of people for a basic trying to recreate (a) failed regime(s). Putin is not going to re-create the Russian empire / Soviet Union. He’s not that interesting, just an irritating little hemorrhoid no more important to history than Assad or Saddam Hussein.

These companies track every click you make for ad targeting but claim they can’t trace bulk chip orders going to obvious shell companies. The „we just need them to check a box“ defense is wild when you consider how sophisticated their supply chain analytics are for literally everything else
Whoda thunk indiscriminately offering parts to tyrants would lead to their toys of oppression being built from them? Maybe we should’ve stopped to think about the implications of selling to a superpower actively suppressing democratic freedoms and mass murdering civilians? But.. that’s just me I guess 🤷♂️
