      Erdogan is known as a well adjusted and calm person and will surely not, lets say tell his military to shoot down (another) russian jet.

      Is it a ferry that carries passengers and cargo? it apparently travelled from the Turkish city of Karasu to Odessa, and was carrying some trucks. my source was B92. net.

      EDIT: NEW: en.apa. az says it was a combined passenger/cargo ferry and was hit by an iskander missile. It was Panamanian flagged but Turkish owned

      It was a shipping boat not a passenger liner. No casualties according to Turkish official statements. Most probably a retaliation by Putin to the 2 shadow fleet ships struck by Ukrain near Turkey.

      Russian attack on a Nato country. Interesting to see if Turkey sees this as a crossing of some red line.
