Boot, das Solar+Wind+Batterien+Wasserstoff+intelligente Windmühlen kombiniert, die zu einem riesigen windbetriebenen Containerschiff führten – geht in den Ruhestand

The catamaren was developed back in 2019 for the purpose of testing our various technologies on a ship that would cross the sea. One of the most interesting parts of it were the sails that were built with the ability to automatically calculate what direction to face to maximize movement. The prototype wind sails were eventually added to a large container ship that is also used to move rockets from France to South America.

The boat mostly runs on solar power, with of course the sails supporting it. The boat uses hydrogen and batteries for when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind didn’t blow.
