corruption went up, they got to finance that. the US president is not cheap.

    2. They should be selling tickets dirt cheap to encourage people to attend, because seriously why would anyone risk travelling to the US and potentially getting thrown into a ICE deportation facility…

Fun Fact: Sepp Blatter was only the 2nd worst FIFA President in recent memory.

But you get what you vote for.

    4. > Tickets to Fifa’s showpiece event are as much as seven times more expensive than the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with the lowest price ticket at that event costing £450.

I guess that’s because the visit to an ICE center plus the housing is included in the price ?

    5. Among all corrupt international entities, FIFA is most likely the top of the list. So what else good people of earth should expect?

Dont go. Simple as that. Also don’t watch so they don’t make money off streaming.

    8. People are going to go anyway. The majority of people are fucking idiots. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t be in this situation. People still use Elon’s Twitter, people still support Trump, people still want to vote for a Russian stooge asshole like Farage or Le Pen. Honestly, if it was 200 years ago, mobs would have defenestrated or guillotine half of the elites by now, and the other half would be fucking terrified and in hiding. But we haven’t done that, so I expect that people will go and support a Nazi traitorous regime because they care about their own fucking selfish shit just as much as the corrupt elites they always end up bitching about.

Downvote me all you want; it’s the fucking truth.

    9. Of course it will be super expensive. That is how all big events are in the US, especially with sports. There are many people with money that are willing to pay. It is the same for F1 races. It will be the same for the Olympics.

    10. The world needs to boycott this event next year .. at least the games held in the States need to be boycotted

It’s always been only about the money. That’s why the tournament is 48 instead of 32 teams and there are 104 instead of 64 matches and the tournament will run for 39 days instead of 32. PURE GREED. Add in airfare, hotel rooms ( [https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6875796/2025/12/10/hotel-prices-in-world-cup-host-cities-surge-by-more-than-300-after-schedule-confirmed/](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6875796/2025/12/10/hotel-prices-in-world-cup-host-cities-surge-by-more-than-300-after-schedule-confirmed/) and food, you have to be wealthy, not simply well-to-do, to see any of the games in person. Shame on Infantino…apparently he and Trump are two peas in a pod. The word affordability is just a hoax.

    12. The problem is… idiots *will* happily pay to get shafted. And throw most of their privacy out of the window.

FIFA´s become even more of a circus than it was. Let´s thank Infantilo for that.

If you come to the US your social media devices, emails and information about your family (age, location, names) have to be disclosed.

      Still worth it?
