      Like a lot of the IT firms are in dodgy sectors like FX, gambling, mobile „gaming“ (basically more gambling) and other unsavory areas that generally are associated with high pressure sales, high stress etc. and are probably being run by people who aren’t particularly ethical or give a shit about others.

      There’s legit ones, but also there’s shitloads of smaller shitty ones.

      They call those firms „galleys“ – bottom of the barrel pay, intense monitoring, intense pressure, otright illegal clauses in the contracts like fines, withholding pay and liability. The list is simply huge. And there are tons of them – opening and closing depending on how much heat they attract.
