I’m going to start a Lobby to get Comic Sans set as the default font for all US Government documents.

Wingdings is the only true font for American diplomats. It perfectly portraits the gibberish being spouted by the current administration…

This administration is so incredibly efficient that the only places it’s found to wring out a few extra cents of savings is from font choice! It’s quite amazing really. Now that we’ve funded public healthcare, made education and childcare affordable, this incredible winning trajectory we’re on is leading us to those nooks and crannies often overlooked by ordinary Administrations, with their ordinary cabinet members overhwelmed by their responsibilities.

Given the record of the leader of the current administration I’m surprised he didn’t opt for Gill Sans.

So Sans Serif is woke now. Does that mean Google and all those other companies are going to go back to their old logos?

Comic Sans would suit them better.

When birthright citizenship is ruled out by SCOTUS I’m going to be there to wave to the plane that deports Marco to Cuba.

This administration always seems so…small.
The secretary of state’s mandate includes:
* All foreign policy work
* All US embassy
* Chief diplomat for the US
This is a huge job filled of ***really big stuff.***
Rubio’s weighing in on font.

Comic Sans would be more appropriate for this bunch.

>A state department spokesperson told the BBC the change to Times New Roman aligns with President Donald Trump’s mission to „present a unified, professional voice in all communications“.
A unified, professional voice in all communications?
That’s hilarious.

Little Marco going to tell Trump at the next cabinet meeting so he gets a little head pet from him

Even the newspaper that originally commissioned Times New Roman – you might not be surprised to learn it was the Times – has abandoned Times New Roman. The typeface was designed for metal typesetting, specifically for legibility with bad ink and cheap paper. The Times has adopted no fewer than five new typefaces since then, adapting to new printing technologies, especially digital typesetting.
Microsoft developed Calibri (along with the serif Cambria and monospaced Consolas) specifically for rendering on modern computer monitors.
Switching from Calibri to Times New Roman in the Year of Our Lord Two-Thousand and Twenty-Almost-Six is basically ordering the military to return to flintlocks.

The way this government is running I would’ve expected Wingdings since they are all over the place.

I could not figure out why until I read that Calibri is more accessible to those with disabilities, therefore it’s “woke.” Yeah, that tracks.
