Honestly, and take this for what it is. Believe what makes your dopamine rush, we all get our high some how m. You go to D.C. you stay in a badass hotel for 1 or 2 nights. (Free to you!) Then you go to the „big one“ which is a massive lodge in D.C. You basically have a normal (but on a grand scale cause most of us come from smaller lodges) meeting. Then you get lunch with a bunch of white hats that are like 90+ years old. Basically most of the convo is you n their aids. Then you go to a ceremony that’s public basically reading off your accomplishments and a small history of you. Then after the sun goes down you go to Americas main lodge. You conduct a seriously extraordinary/extravagant ceremony. The degree work here is basically a summary of degrees 4 to 30. To summarize the degree basically they tell you to put your own comfort aside to help the Masons. It’s more so a pledge you make to help Americans out when you can and that you proven yourself to be capable to do so now go do it. There’s a lot of pompt involved but it feels great cause you actually put work in for this. Then you get your hat, and they give you a ring (not fucking real fucking silver but that’s fine) and you go to dinner with some select brothers. Most of the time it’s people of renown. So kind alike district attorneys, or doctors in big hospitals or very very very low level politicians. And they all are bored AF cause if your not from money or have money it’s kinda like they don’t give a fuck about you but they have to do this out of obligation to the lodge. But they aren’t disrespectful at all, more like checking the box kinda event. Then you go home to your lodge and swing your massive nuts all over the place while trying to be on the level with your peers but you just came back from D.C so your hype and their jealous. Hey, a Freemason here. This is just a chart of the degrees you can ascend to once your a 3rd degree. 33rd degree in the Scottish rite is a honorary degree. Every person that joins the Scottish rite becomes a 32 degree. 33rd is usually very active masons, congressman, presidents and so on. If the masons are involved in any shadowy movement it’s at that level. But most won’t ascend to that. Because most or just regular guys. The masons aren’t the evil people think they are.
