      >Pope Leo XIV criticized the Trump administration for sidelining Europe in Ukraine peace negotiations, arguing such an approach is unrealistic.

European leaders are always welcomed to step up to the plate and lead the negotiation at any time. The American president is leading because we don’t do anything about it, it’s simple as that. If we were a credible threat, Russia would take us seriously and negotiate with us.

Why don’t European leaders just band up, say enough is enough, we’re taking over. Tell Zelensky to stop talking to Trump and just deal with us.

Would rather they just come out and say it. The pretend alliance BS is more irritating imo.

There is ZERO benefit for America from the trump admin’s attitude towards EUROPE, ZERO!!! A weakened Europe only benefits our enemies, specially Russia. A strong Europe, is a strong ally which works as a bulwark against russian expansionism. Remember, US isolationism produced the conditions that led to the Lousitania sinking and the Pearl Harbour attack!!!

    7. Guys I’m not happy with what the USA does right now. But r/Europe got flooded by ruzzians bots talking Americans trying to antagonize EU and USA even more. Just keep this in mind and get your emotions checked from time to time, we can’t have America fudge us over, but dancing like ruzzia wants it’s even worse. Spread the warning!

    8. do like the fact the we have a democrat from Chicago pushing back on the new world fascists. especially cos they wrap themselves, the new world fascists that is, in a cloak of virtuous christianity and now you got the o.g. daddy of christianity calling them out on their amoral ahistorical bullsheet

    9. Trump and his regime are a bunch of unqualified, ignorant imbeciles who understand almost nothing about how much the U.S. and EU economies depend on each other.

Before Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine:

      >Russia has historically not been a major overall economic partner of the United States.
      >
      >Russia was the United States‘ 23rd-largest goods trading partner by country in 2021. It comprised 0.8% of U.S. goods trade, while the United States accounted for 4.4% of Russia’s goods trade.
