I do think youtube shouldn’t be included in ’social media‘. I guess it’s blurred a bit with shorts. But I would say longer form content is far more akin to TV/Netflix than twitter/tiktok.
Interesting that despite the impression some are given, BBC News has increased as primary news source. Which I can imagine is more to the alternatives than the BBC themselves. NHS has also increased as for health information. So maybe that’s people savvying up to misinformation to some degree?
The “pandemic” did huge damage to us. Both mentally and financially. As it was designed to do.
Maybe because we are all skint paying bills and can’t afford to go out
