I think he’s a little naive if he thinks that will work. Does he think Russia and America will suddenly stop pumping Twitter and Facebook full of propaganda of he makes some administrative changes? He’s attacking the fake problem not the real problem.

    2. Sure Keith, keep giving in to the far right and imitate them will really make their voters support you.

Its like when a kid at school gets bullied and that same kid tries to hang out with his own bullies and consider them his friends.

Pathetic, weak Neville Chamberlain of the 21st century.

    3. Or, we could reform it because it’s the right thing to do, and not simply because it’s a vehicle to stick it to the „far right“.

    4. So the UK is currently allowing an unlimited number of unknown people to enter the country illegally, which we then pay a fortune to house, feed and give them free health care (among other free benefits), who we then leave to wander around the country with the public unsupervised, a number of which then go onto cause a long list of crimes, including raping you girls (3 different stories of this just today in this sub).

But, the reason he wants to change this is not because Labour themselves have an issue with this utter mad situation, but just to halt the „far right“?

The only thing Labour seem to stand for is themselves.

It’s too late for that now. The best thing we can do is figure out how we get rid of them once they’re all in power.

The future is being monitored 24/7 and dragged from your home in the early hours for something as little as watching a stream of football illegally.

The irony being, it’ll be those people that vote for the far right.

As much as the recent changes to the asylum system are criticised by some people, it does genuinely feel it’s had its intended effect. How long it will last who knows.

    7. You know what will halt the rise of the right?

Less of those pesky human rights we put in place after the Nazi pogroms, and the other various internment camps.

Fucking idiot, and his claim to being a „good PM“ is that he was a fucking **human rights lawyer**??

Wise words from Starmer, a prime minister busy turbocharging the UK far right.

Whenever this comes up the usual questionable accounts keep pushing the same narrative.

The ECHR has been amended dozens of times. It is not some mythical document that has been unchanged since 1950s.

      ECHR protocols = amendments.

It absolutely needs to be amended again to take into account modern mass migration. In the age where the likes of Russia and Iran are using mass immigration as a weapon of war, we need to adapt.

    10. He cannot possibly be stupid enough to be trying to fight against Reform policies by implementing Reform policies, not after so many other parties have tried and failed.

It would make a lot more sense, as an uncertain conclusion, for the current leadership to want those policies but be unwilling to say so.

    11. Is he by chance confirming that there’s a problem with the echr or just letting us know that he, like the tories and the greens would prefer it if we voted reform?
