    1. Someone tell Doug that Public Servants were working. They were just working from home. Supporting their local communities with their hard earned salaries. Keeping Cars off the road, saving the government billions in road maintenance and societal costs due to congestion. Allowing government to reduce costs by closing down expensive downtown leases, and pushing the costs of office maintenance off the government balance books into that of their employees.

And let’s not forget that it allowed the government to lower staffing costs by being able to hire employees from other regions of Ontario with lower costs of living, while also expanding their talent pools and making the public service a career path for anyone in Ontario instead of just the people lucky enough to afford living in Toronto.

This is suck a stupid take. Doug is too smart to actually be this dumb so is this just about getting people to quit as well?

    3. But you have to promote the benefits of working on-site when works can be done remotely just as effective and efficient.

I have not seen anything about what good it will bring oh but that maybe because there are no fucking benefits.

This from the guy who has cut down the sitting time of the legislature to historically number of low days? The legislature only sat for 85 days in 2025. This guy takes huge summer and winter and spring and fall recess vacations but then forces all the slaves back to the office to prop up the commercial real-estate all owned by his buddies. This guy hates workers.

We tell the premier “you have to start answering questions yourself in the legislative assembly” and “you have to stop giving taxpayer money to strip clubs”

    6. It looks like Ford will have a hard time just like Carney. Public servants have adjusted to the new normal, and they won’t come back to the office willingly. At least it looke like Ford won’t have the same problem as Carney with a lack of office space to take care of all of the returning public servants.

They were already working. Doug is just changing the venue and making their jobs less flexible and more difficult to get to.

It would make sense that Premier Doug Ford the Former Drug Lord suggests that other people get paid for not working – it’s something he’s used to.
