SNAP and welfare seems more like corporate welfare than anything else.
P&G have long maintained the best way to secure long term income is get people hooked on their products (use toothpaste 3 times a day). Now Government paying for them is the best of all worlds.

Lmao love how y’all gloss over the cut of 1/5 of their product lines…which is a huge cost savings effort which is why the prices would fall. Has nothing to do with SNAP ffs

SNAP is corporate welfare. All it is. And news flash so are Obamacare subsidies. They send money to insurance companies so you now have money to spend.

I posted an ad on Facebook for snap victims to meet me at the buffet with all their kids.
One wrote that they had no car and if I could get groceries…
Requesting only junk food mostly….
Another single Mom had no big fridge only a mini fridge and needed small junk foods.
The next pregnant lady was legit and requested/ate real food. She was getting $1600 snap a month for 7 of them. She is originally from the Island with the Hurricanes.
I bought them all Door Dash groceries.
SNAP is a junk food treat for lazy moms.

Increased demand leads to increased prices, even if that demand is artificial.

Many. I believe the food stamp program should have special requirements on what food can be bought and once bought the food item cannot be resold. We can do this since snap is like a debit card.

The biggest beneficiaries of SNAP are corporations like WalMart who get their employee’s wages subsidized by the tax payer.

All of them depend on it. Whether its a straight subsidy or hidden subsidies like SNAP
