But an aggressive position against Venezuela was written in Project 2025 way before we’ve had the latest Epstein dust up.
The real disaster that can be prevented is what the administration is actually doing according to the Project 2025 plan and Trump’s special addition of corruption and illegal retribution.
So Epstein is actually distracting from that. Hopefully we have just enough attention for two things at the same time.

They are blowing up boats to model the violence and brutality they are capable of…. first abroad, before bringing it home. The separations of power are nearly removed, secret police roam the streets, and by the time people are ready to say „enough“ they will be ready to unleash the violence and fear towards control at home. Epstein files, if anything, is the opiate of the masses here… its a comforting thought that there would be some authority that would intervene now if he were exposed. But that’s passed. Every one of us, every republican, knows already what is in the files, and will simply deflect and lie even if they came to light unedited. In fact, I can’t help but wonder if this is a coordinated effort by right wingers to keep the attention on Epstein, which will go nowhere, while the real damage unfolds.

The irony of the epstein files being the actual distraction. On one side, we have extrajudicial killings, deportations to torture camps in foreign countries, then, on the other side, we have a list with names from a child trafficker where there will never be anything more than that released.
