Dwayne said years back he will always have love for Brenden because he didn’t hate on him when he was getting his start like many people within the movie establishment did.
He said there was this feeling that he didn’t “pay his dues” didn’t go to an elite acting school like many did, and was just a dumb wrestler which they didn’t respect the acting in that field.
Dwayne took over for Brendan in the Journey to the Center of the Earth sequel. This was around the time when Brendan stepped back from Hollywood for a while.
