Do not believe his lies
Executives fighting over multi-billion dollar deals to enrich themselves while below the line workers are working for relative pennies no matter what the result, if they’re able to work at all, a classic tale.
Leave it to humans to corrupt an industry based on creativity and art with this shit.
There’s some long term contracts that have to be fulfilled (for example I read WB has a physical media branch that distributes other companies films too), but it’s after 2029 or so that many of the lies will come forth: Long after it would matter.
Continued sad times for the entertainment industry.
If a CEO speaks, he lies.
So will it be with this statement.
Just figure it out please, the havoc this is causing on entertainment stocks is rather annoying.
It’s Netflix’s literal fiduciary duty to shareholders to fire as many people they can and consolidate costs.
The CEO wouldn’t be able to keep his job if he doesn’t. Netflix isn’t a charity.
Whose jobs is it protecting? Certainly not the people making the fucking shows and movies.
They’re pissing down our backs and telling us it’s raining.
Why do they have two CEOs? Never even heard of the other guy
