Hopefully this leads to some changes in remote working, namely that the scales get tipped in the worker’s favour. So many folks I know love working from home, and have had to fight management to keep it going, which shouldn’t be the case at all.

Given the government’s track record though, they’ll probably go the opposite direction and have you live from work.

    2. Fairly simple the government brings in an infrastructure tax linked to employees in certain sectors, 5% of employees wages and then cuts it down on how many days a week the employee can work from home.

I would imagine that many employer would drop the need for „collaboration“ fairly lively.

    3. If you could wfh during covid for 1/2 years, then you can wfh now, it should be that simple.

    4. People just need to accept it’s between you and your employer if you can WFH or not, the government can’t ban offices
