Cool….I was always 50/50 on Jimmy but feel the he’s been reinvigorated with this new administration. This is the best run he’s been on as a comedian, and ratings have upped too.
I’m glad he’s staying on but only a one year renewal in this climate doesn’t sound like good news long term unless his ratings are undeniable a year from now
Kind of surprised honestly since Disney still sucked for taking him off the air in the first place and I wouldn’t want to work with them anymore after that (especially since linear TV is dying anyway and you’d have more freedom on a podcast).
But I could also see the angle of not giving Trump/MAGA the satisfaction and keeping the show so you can stay on his ass. Sadly, it feels like the show will be around only a couple more years regardless but he’s set up perfectly for a new chapter anyway.
